Let the Games Begin!

The Knitting World Cup (http://yarn-monkey.blogspot.com) kicked off a couple of hours ago. I am doing an Estonian lace scarf with some green alpaca yarn I got at Stitches Midwest. I really regretted not taking part in the Knitting Olympics inFebruary, because everyone seemed to be having a great time with it. So I really didn't want to miss out on another worldwide knitting event. Speaking of which: tomorrow is Worldwide Knit in Public Day. My Estonian lace and I will be in Millennium Park tomorrow afternoon along with all the other Chicago Stitch-n-Bitchers. All right, I need to run. I have to do at least a few more rows of this scarf before my lunch break ends.

I hope you have a great time tomorrow! I ended up getting a spinning lesson, so I'll be doing that. I might try to knit outside somewhere...maybe while we are having lunch!

Ooh! I took a spinning class at Stitches Midwest, but I'd like to take another one because I've forgotten pretty much everything i learned. ;-) I'll be interested to hear how your class goes.
