It's Over, But Not Finished

So Italy won the World Cup, but I will not be a winner of the Knitting World Cup. I mean, I could've gone ahead and bound off that scarf, but it's not nearly long enough, and it still needs to be blocked. Ah, well. It was an interesting exercise, and I'm glad I participated. I'm even more glad that it's over. I felt a lot of pressure to keep working on that scarf even when I was heartily sick of it. Now I can work on some other things without feeling guilt. In particular, I need to finish the Clapotis scarf and continue working on my Anatolian mittens. Gotta keep my hands warm next winter...
