A friend sent me some Berroco Furz yarn and asked me to make a sweater for her sister-in-law's baby. I knew I wouldn't have enough yarn to make anything bigger than a preemie-size sweater, and since Furz (the pink yarn on the right) has been discontinued, I decided to combine it with some Lion Imagine (also discontinued; the lighter yarn on the left) that I had in my stash. I really like the results so far. The cardigan is knit in one piece. I have the right front done and am almost done with the back. I may have enough yarn left over to make a hat and/or some booties. I know my friend would be thrilled to be able to give the baby a complete layette set. When it's all done, I'll post pictures.
