Knitters Are Everywhere

Last weekend I went to the Pacific Northwest for a friend's wedding, and on the return flight I found myself next to a woman who was trying to knit a hat for her first granddaughter, who is due in a few months. She had trouble with the ribbing, however, so I showed her how to do it correctly. She was so grateful that she asked for my home address so she could send me a picture of the hat when it's done. Joyce, if you're reading this, I hope the hat is going well and I can't wait to see that picture.
