A Little Lace

Since I'm done with the blanket for my brother's child and almost done with my Afghans for Afghans knitting, I decided to start something for myself. I finally bought a copy of Jane Sowerby's Victorian Lace Today and decided to make the simplest possible lace scarf for myself. I definitely want to do some of the harder projects, but this is a good project for the knitting group I started at work. I can work on this and still chat with my co-workers without making a lot of mistakes. I'm using a strand of extremely fine alpaca and a strand of slightly heavier wool. I'm very pleased with the results so far.

Sorry for the blurriness of the picture. My cheap little camera doesn't take the best photos. But you get the general idea.
