This is an excellent article from the Shetland Times. I have no comment except to say that I agree wholeheartedly with this passage: "Knitwear can never earn knitters enough money, because its value as a saleable commodity will never equal its value as a historical and cultural asset. Nor will its monetary value ever be able to cover the time it takes to create."
