So, I'm not at Stitches Midwest this weekend. That's OK because I have some lovely new laceweight merino from Fearless Fibers.
The colorway is called Sunny Peach, and it's everything I hoped it would be. The color gradations are very subtle but give the yarn amazing depth. I haven't yet decided what to make with it, but it will probably be something from Victorian Lace Today. I have over 1200 yards (410 yards times 3 skeins), which is more than enough to make some of the larger stoles in the book.
Let me say a word about Fearless Fibers: the owner, Deb Kessler, emailed me within a couple hours of my placing the order, and I got the yarn within 2 days. I couldn't be more impressed. I'll definitely buy from her again.
That's all the news from my world. Hope you're having a knit-tastic weekend.
