My resolution for 2009 is the same one I made a few years ago: I can't buy any more yarn or start a new project until I've finished at least 3 of the projects I already have on the needles. Since 3 of my projects are scarves, I'll finish those first. Should be easy enough. In fact, I'm almost done with the red lace scarf I started ages ago. I had to go to the laundromat today because the laundry room in our building suffered a burst pipe during the recent frigid weather, and I used the time waiting for my clothes to dry to get started on the border of that scarf. It's coming along nicely, and I hope to finish it this evening while watching a movie...if my cat will let me. Usually he leaves my knitting alone, but sometimes he insists on "helping" me. Let's hope he ignores it this time.
