I finished these socks months ago and have been meaning to post a picture but kept forgetting. Old age sucks, I tell you what.
Anyway, I made these socks with Nova Sock yarn from Fleece Artist. The color way is called Foliage. I'm looking at their web site and don't see either the yarn or the color on there, so I'm hoping they didn't discontinue it. The yarn is without doubt the nicest sock yarn I've ever used. It's got a great, springy twist to it and is super soft. I loved knitting with it. I was still employed while I was making these socks, and the yarn was a huge hit among the knitters at my office. They kept touching it and asking where I got it (Loopy Yarns in Chicago). It is expensive, and I never would have bought it if I hadn't had a $10 off coupon, but if you can find it on sale, I can't recommend it enough.
