Now That I Have a Job...

...I can afford one of those Namaste bags I've been coveting for ages (and yes, I know that coveting is a sin--I see you shooting the side-eye at me).

No, I didn't need this bag at all, but it's gorgeous and perfect for knitters, with lots of pockets for organization and a roomy compartment for a knitting project. And it's RED, which means it's perfect for me. I'm very happy with it.

I got it at Loopy Yarns. Of course, while I was there, I had to look at the yarn in the 50% off bin, and found some Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock. Isn't that a great color way? I'm thinking of making some little girl hats out of it.

A friend of mine owns a little shop in Blaine, WA, and she's been selling my stuff for me. Last week she mailed me a check for some items she sold and asked for more merchandise. Guess I have to get busy!

Speaking of which, I have been incredibly busy, which is why it has been 2 months since my last post. I have been knitting but nothing worthy of a blog post. I'm almost done with something that I think is pretty fabulous, though, and as soon as it's finished, I promise to post a picture.

Thanks, Lynette! I'll definitely post pics when I knit the yarn.

I heard from Monica that you did well at the Beverly fest. Congrats!
