So I started on the blanket I want to make for my nephew for Christmas. It's looking good so far, I think.
It's going to be huge, like the one I'm making for myself. But that's OK. He'll be able to use it as a bedspread for a long time to come. I love these garter stitch blankets. They're perfect TV knitting, because I don't have to look at the stitches as I knit. The only down side to these blankets is that they aren't very portable. If I could carry it around with me, I'd probably be past the halfway point by now. Luckily, I have exactly 3 months until Christmas. That should be plenty of time--right? Eep.
