Finished the scarf with the Capra Cashmere. I think it looks pretty cool.
And I started a pair of socks using yarn I got in July 2009 at the Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Festival. I remember that the merchant's name is Creatively Dyed but I didn't save the label, so I don't remember the name of the yarn or the color way. I know, I should keep better notes. Anyway, it's very nice yarn and the first sock looks good so far.
I like that the dyer used very short color repeats and occasional blobs of color, so you don't end up with pools or striping. If I like how these socks turn out, I'll probably order some more yarn from her...not that I need any more sock yarn.
