So I finished those socks. I know y'all were just *dying* to see the finished product. Heh. Anyway, here they are.
I have to say that it always gives me a little thrill when I can get the stripes in self-striping sock yarn to line up like that.
And I finally figured out what I want to do with that cashmere lace weight yarn I mentioned a few posts back. I'm making one of Sally Mellville's Shape It scarves from her book "The Knit Stitch."
It doesn't look all that exciting when it's scrunched up on the needles, but I have hope that it'll look great when it's blocked out.
Once I'm done with this scarf, I don't know what I'll do next. I recently learned that YET ANOTHER friend is pregnant, but she's a fellow knitter, so she's knitting for the baby herself, and it's her third child, so it's not as if she needs any supplies. So I'm not doing any more baby stuff at the moment. I could use another pair of socks for myself, so that's a possibility. As always, whatever I make, I'll be sure to post pictures for your amusement.
