I don't understand people who won't eat leftovers. That's the best part of cooking! You make a huge pot of stew or chili or a big pan of lasagna, and then you freeze the leftovers so you have meals for a week. I love leftovers. I like leftover yarn even more--you know, those little partial skeins and balls that are remnants of a larger project. I like throwing together disparate elements from multiple projects and seeing what happens. Sometimes, you end up with something super cute, like this scarf made from leftover pink and orange sock yarn.
I'm not a pink person, but the orange warms this up and makes it something I would wear. See?
I think it'll look great with my dark brown coat this winter.
Still haven't decided what to do with that ancient yarn from my stash. In the meantime, I'm doing another scarf (boring, I know), because I'm traveling all next week and need a project that's portable and super easy in case I'm interrupted. I'll post pics when I get back.
