I hope not, because look what came in the mail today:
And this one is the Dovre pattern. I guess they got the motif from a traditional Norwegian sweater that Arne's grandfather used to wear.
Oh, I also finished another pair of socks for Afghans for Afghans that I will be mailing out this week, but I neglected to take a picture. They're really plain and boring, so you aren't missing anything, trust me.
I didn't even know that Arne & Carlos had an Easter book until I got an email from Knit Picks announcing their winter book sale. I clicked through, just idly browsing to see if they had anything interesting, and when I saw this book for just $10, I pounced on it. As you can see in the photo, I also bought some pastel yarns to make some of the projects. The designs are just as beautiful and whimsical as their Christmas ones. I'm very excited to get started. However, I promised my sister another pair of fingerless gloves for her birthday, which is approaching fast, so I have to do those first.
Before, I forget, Lynette of Passionknit fame had asked to see pictures of any additional Christmas balls I made this year, so here they are. This one, obviously, is the bell.
