OK, so I didn't finish these socks until last night, but I did start them during Lent, so they still count. I was traveling during Holy Week and didn't have as much time to knit as I anticipated. Again, it's a Knit Picks yarn; I've lost the ball band, so I can't give you more information than that.
Very handsome, no? The colors remind me of a black-watch plaid. I now have 3 pairs of socks to mail to Afghans for Afghans, and a woman in my church knitting group is going to give me some mittens tomorrow to add to the package. A third woman volunteered to make a hat, but I haven't heard from her so I don't know whether she actually finished it. No matter what, I'm proud of what we accomplished for a very worthy charity.
