I managed to squeeze in a couple of small projects before Christmas. My nephew's aunt and uncle are expecting their second baby, so I made a bib and a burp cloth.
I really like the yellow and blue stripes on the burp cloth. The patterns for both are in the first Mason-Dixon Knitting book.
The yarn is good old Peaches and Creme. It's 100% cotton and machine washable and dryable. I'm so glad I bought several huge bags of this yarn before Pisgah Yarn got bought out and closed their doors.
A dear friend gave me this Noro Silk Garden book and the Hamilton Mixtape for Christmas. She knows me and my obsessions so well. This is pretty much the perfect Christmas gift for me.
I definitely won't be posting next week because I'll be traveling to western New York to visit family, so I'll wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. See you again in 2017!
