Every year, our knitting group at church makes scarves for the Christmas at Sea program. I just finished 3 scarves to donate. They're all made of washable wool yarn left over from baby blankets.
I traveled over Memorial Day weekend and needed a small project to fit in my carry-on bag, so I started a pair of socks for myself. I'm almost done with the first one. The yarn is a cashmere blend from Knit Circus. I love that self-striping sock yarn.
Finally, while I was looking for something else in my stash, I came across some yarn that I completely forgot I owned. Do you detect a color theme? I think my next project needs to use one or more of those skeins.
