As mentioned in my last post way back in April, I decided to use up a lot of leftover sock yarn in my stash. It took 2 months but I finally used all of it. I managed to get 8 baby hats out of it.
I'm very pleased with the results, and I am set for baby showers for the foreseeable future.
My next project is going to be a triangle shawl for my stepmother. I'm using Knit Picks Stroll sock yarn, one gradient and the other kettle dyed.
The shawl is coming along very nicely so far. I love how the colors look together..
My dad died recently and my stepmother is having a really hard time because she was very dependent on him, and I want to make something cheerful for her. Also, she's cold all the time, so a shawl will come in handy.
