I am not done with cowls, nor am I done with gradient yarns. I used a gift certificate a friend gave me for Christmas to get 2 coordinating gradients from Knit Circus. The darker one is Pumpkin Spice Latte, and the lighter one is Orange You Glad.
I striped them together to make this cowl.
A co-worker commented during our lunchtime knitting group that I always make things that are brightly colored. It's because I have a black winter coat and I like to liven that up, especially when the weather is cold and dreary.
But today is the first day of spring, and it's gorgeous here in Chicago and I don't think we'll need our heavy knitted scarves and hats too much longer (knocks on wood). Now I'm working on a pair of fingerless gloves requested by my sister.
