A couple of weeks ago I went with the Saturday morning knitting group, Fiber Friends, to Miss Purl on 95th street. It was my second sojourn down there. It's such a cute shop. I love the yarn pom-pom garland on the tree out front.
I was not planning to buy anything but I have no self-control in the face of a beautiful green yarn. I bought this wool and a coordinating silk-mohair blend.
It's enough yardage to do a generous scarf or cowl. It'll go into the stash for now while I try to finish a couple of projects I started months ago. I set them aside do do holiday knitting and those baby hats, but now it's time to get them done so I can move on with my life.
