I made this half-circle shawl for a dear friend's birthday. She loves jewel tones, so I knew she would like this variegated blue, green, and purple yarn.
She loves it and so do I. I really like the sawtooth lace border on a garter stitch piece.
Speaking of birthdays, mine is next week, and another friend crocheted me a slice of pumpkin pie.
It's so cute! I have added it to my autumn tableau on my antique cabinet.
I am so thrilled that it's finally fall. I hate the heat and humidity of summer, so this is my favorite time of the year: sweater weather! Speaking of which, I need to get busy and finish a sweater I started last year. Better late than never.
