A woman at church is turning 100 this month, and there is a big party for her next weekend. I managed to finish this shawl in time. I hope she likes it.
I used this gradient yarn from Frabjous Fibers.
In an effort to use up yarn from my stash, I made a cowl with this yarn from Ella Rae Yarn that I got at Miss Purl more than a year ago.
Of course, summer is just starting and it will be a long time before it's cold enough again to wear the cowl so it will go into the pile with all my other shawls, cowls, and scarves. I've actually given away some old ones I haven't worn in a long time. It's not like I'm ever going to stop knitting and crocheting, and I have only 1 neck, so I might as well share the ones I don't use with others.
