Japanese Yarn, a Green Shawl, and the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Fest

Welcome to autumn! I can’t believe I didn’t post all summer. In my defense, I went to Japan at the end of June, and the trip was fun but it took a lot out of me.

I found yarn in Japan, of course. These 5 skeins were at a little craft store tucked into a shopping mall.

I also visited Daruma Store and bought 4 more skeins. It was a hike to find the place but well worth it.

So I made another green shawl. What can I say? I like what I like. These 3 skeins of yarn yielded a very large shawl and a little cowl.

This past weekend I went to the Wisconsin sheep and wool festival. Of course I bought more green yarn.
